Trinity College Foundation Studies Program (TCFS)  Admission Requirement

  • a TCFS application form with all sections completed (submitted online at trinity.unimelb.edu.au/tcfs/applyonline or by email to foundationstudies@trinity.unimelb.edu.au)
  •  certified copies of original academic qualifications of all final year of schooling, including school reports, official examination certificates, forecast and preliminary results
  • evidence of English language proficiency (if applicable) – this can include IELTS or TOEFL result depending on your country of origin.

How long will my application take to process?

Our admissions staff will assess your application for entry to TCFS as soon as it is received. If you are eligible for the program, we will then make you an offer for the intake that best suits your academic level and English requirements. Typically, you can expect to hear back from us within three working days to let you know if you have been successful in your application or not.

If you are a successful applicant, you will need to:

  • accept your letter of offer by the acceptance deadline
  • organize fee payments
  • have your accommodation choice approved by Trinity College
  • receive confirmation of enrolment from the University of Melbourne
  • apply for your visa.
